Graduation ceremony of Tambov State University: 427 foreign students from 28 countries received their higher education diplomas

On July 07, 2023, the solemn graduation took place at Tambov State University with a festive ceremony of awarding diplomas of higher education. 427 students from 28 countries received prestigious diplomas. It was a truly magnificent event: the hot summer of Tambov, colorful flags of 28 countries drowning in the sun, elegant students and their parents, plenty of songs and national dances!

The group of Russian state universities RACUS always pays special attention to the organization of graduation ceremonies of its TOP 20 universities: farewell to the era of studying in Russia should stay in the hearts of our dear graduates forever. A vivid final chord of their university years! Over the many years of studies, our students have become a large international family, gained new unforgettable experience, met outstanding professionals, made friends from all over the world, became more mature and took a new look at their lives. Now they will make their parents and homelands proud of their achievements, take leading positions in the labor markets, open their own businesses and, we are sure, will continue their professional development, reaching new heights. Purposeful, ambitious, inquisitive, open and hardworking our students are the best.

Pavel Pugachev, Deputy Minister of Health of the Astrakhan Region, as well as the representatives of the Governor of the Region, Smail Benamara, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Algeria to Russia and Ahmed Hussein Khalil, Adviser to the Embassy of Iraq in Russia, delivered a solemn speech for students.

The alma mater also congratulated the students: Pavel Moiseev, Rector of Tambov State University; vice-rectors and teachers of the university delivered parting speeches. Avbakar Nutsalov, General Director of the group of Russian state universities RACUS, addressed the students sharing his warm gratitude and heartfelt wishes, "Tomorrow you will turn over an important page of your book of life and start a new, most interesting chapter of your life. I hope that the knowledge that you have received at this wonderful university will allow you to build your dream career and live your life happily and with dignity. Time flies extremely fast, so try to enjoy every moment. We love you very much and believe in you. We thank your parents for this wonderful new generation. Russia will always wait for each of you with joy because it has become an integral part of your life".

Parents from many countries of the world (India, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Angola, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria) came to congratulate their children at the graduation party. The General Director of the RACUS organization greeted the parents and held a conversation with them in a warm, friendly and festive atmosphere. The parents of the students cordially thanked the organization RACUS and its staff for organizing the education of their children at Tambov State University, professional support and assistance during 6-7 years of their studies at the University.

Brief information: Tambov State University was founded in 1918. To date, more than 14,000 students are studying at the University, including 3,500 international students from 75 countries. The University is included in the register of the World Health Organization (WHO), is featured in the TOP 15 in the Green Metric World University Ranking and in the TOP 10 Russian universities by the number of foreign students out of 1,278 institutions. The University is also a winner of the Russia's largest state program Priority - 2030, which aims to create advanced technologies and developments.
