The whole city was celebrating: 308 foreign students of Astrakhan State Medical University received diplomas of higher medical education

On July 3, 2023, a showy and festive graduation ceremony of the Astrakhan State Medical University took place: 308 students from 20 countries received diplomas of higher education. The diplomas were awarded to the students from Algeria, Egypt, Congo, Sri Lanka, Canada, Morocco, Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, India, Iraq, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Mauritius, Malawi, Lebanon, Tunisia and South Africa.

The graduation ceremony took place in a historic building of incredible beauty, the Astrakhan State Opera and Ballet Theatre where events of governmental level are held. The graduation ceremony of one of the most prestigious medical universities was traditionally held on a royal scale. Tears of joy, hugs from parents, gratitude to professors and solemn speeches, music and dances, talented performers, hundreds of balloons released into the sky as a symbol of the beginning of the adulthood; it was really beautiful, touching and warm. The group of Russian state universities RACUS fully organized and funded the festival for its graduates.

Try not to lose who you are, develop your skills and knowledge, believe in yourself. Let your dreams come true. And remember: we are always here and ready to support you. Way to go!"
