From April 27 to 28 in Casablanca and from April 29 to 30 in Kenitra, international education exhibitions were held, serving as significant platforms for the development of academic diplomacy and transnational educational cooperation. The organization RACUS GROUP presented the consolidated potential of Russian higher education institutions within its network. The “Study in Russia – 2026” exhibition by RACUS GROUP demonstrated a steady growth in interest among Moroccan applicants in Russian higher education.

The exhibitions in Kenitra and Casablanca became a logical continuation of a large-scale strategic initiative — the Organization’s educational tour across the Kingdom of Morocco in 2026. To date, RACUS GROUP has ensured participation in more than 20 specialized exhibitions, consistently strengthening the position of Russian higher education in the North African region.

Each event attracted over 2,000 visitors, including prospective students and their parents, indicating a high level of engagement from the target audience. The “Study in Russia – 2026” stand functioned as a full-fledged consultation and analytical center: the Organization’s specialists conducted a series of personalized consultations, presenting over 1,200 educational programs and detailing study opportunities in Russian, English, and French, significantly expanding access to Russian higher education for international students.

Medical specialties, including general medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy, generated the greatest interest among applicants, reflecting a global trend toward the increasing importance of medical education. Particular attention was drawn to Russian universities offering programs in French and already well established among Moroccan students:
• Tambov State University
• Mari State University
• Astrakhan State Medical University
• Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy
• Saint Petersburg State Chemical Pharmaceutical University

The presence of strong interest from applicants who have already defined their educational paths indicates the formation of long-term trust in the Russian higher education system and its academic standards.

The results of the events held by RACUS GROUP in Kenitra and Casablanca, as well as in more than 20 other cities of the Kingdom between January and April 2026, confirm the high demand for Russian higher education among Moroccan youth. In the context of strengthening humanitarian ties between Russia and Morocco, educational cooperation serves as an effective instrument of “soft power,” contributing to the creation of sustainable academic and cultural bridges. The multilingual nature of educational offerings and institutional support for such initiatives create a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation in higher education, aligned with the strategic interests of both countries.
