The international educational exhibitions “Study in Russia – 2026,” held on April 23–24 in the city of Oujda and on April 24–25 in Agadir (Kingdom of Morocco), became a significant event in the field of international academic cooperation and generated a strong response from the local audience.
The exhibitions provided Russian state universities, members of the “RACUS GROUP,” with an effective platform for a comprehensive presentation of their educational potential. Against the backdrop of participation from leading universities in Europe, the United States, the United Kingdom, and China, the RACUS GROUP ensured a vivid and competitive representation of Russian universities from Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Tambov, Perm, Astrakhan, Saratov, Stavropol, Novocherkassk, and Nizhny Novgorod.
Visitors to the events—primarily Moroccan high school students and their parents—received comprehensive information about educational programs aimed at developing in-demand professional competencies and building successful international careers. Medical programs traditionally attracted the greatest interest, presented in French, English, and Russian, including general medicine, pharmacy, and dentistry. Considerable attention was also given to engineering and economics programs that meet current global labor market demands.
As part of the exhibitions, participants were able to receive individual consultations from experts and get familiar with informational and promotional materials, as well as souvenirs at the “Study in Russia – 2026” stand.
The results of the events clearly demonstrate the consistently high interest of Moroccan youth in obtaining higher education in Russia. The successful participation of the RACUS GROUP confirmed the strong position of Russian universities in the international education arena and highlighted additional opportunities for expanding and strengthening Russian-Moroccan academic cooperation.
