On July 6, 2026, a graduation ceremony for international graduates of the Institute of Medicine and Health Sciences of Derzhavin Tambov State University was held in Tambov. This year, more than 240 students from 25 countries, who studied at the university through RACUS GROUP, received their diplomas.
The ceremony started with the Russian anthem, the student anthem, and a solemn flag show, during which flag bearers from all 25 countries represented at the graduation walked onto the stage. A special moment of the evening was the taking of the Doctor's Oath, administered by O. Fabrikantov, Director of the Tambov Branch of the S.N. Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Complex.
The graduates were congratulated by the Rector of the University, P. Moiseev, and honorable guests: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Algeria to Russia, Toufik Djouama, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, Konan Leon, who personally awarded diplomas to the graduates from Algeria and Côte d'Ivoire.
Director General of RACUS GROUP, A. Nutsalov, addressed the graduates with a welcoming speech and presented certificates to the most active graduates who demonstrated high achievements in academic, social, cultural and international life at the university, as well as those who made significant contributions to the development of the student community.
Addressing the graduates, he said: "Dear graduates, I congratulate you on this first and long-awaited success in your adult life. Your student years are over, and now your diploma requires you to make responsible and independent decisions. Remember that studying should be challenging, and that should become the norm in your life. Difficult decisions will make you strong in this competitive world. As one team, we all tried to make this day memorable for you in this beautiful theater hall."
More than 50 relatives from different countries traveled to share the joy of this day with the graduates: for many families, the journey to Tambov was as long-awaited as the diploma itself. The ceremony concluded with a group photo of the honorable guests and the 2026 graduates—a symbolic endpoint to their student chapter and the beginning of a new professional journey for each of them.
