On June 28, 2023, a solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to foreign students of Saratov State Medical University, one of the leading medical universities in Russia, took place in the Saratov Philharmonic and Assembly Hall. About 1,000 graduates received prestigious diplomas of higher medical education, including 152 graduates from 28 countries of the world 8 graduates were awarded diplomas with distinction.

Graduation is the most long-awaited event for every student, which will remain in their memory for the whole life. That is why we do our best to organize it to the best of our abilities. Amazing outfits, a sea of flowers, warm hugs and tears of joy, folk dances and live music, parents proud of their children, sincere gratitudes to the RACUS organization which made it all possible to the administration and professors of the university all these made the graduation ceremony special. And, of course, one of the main attributes of graduation ceremonies is throwing academic caps into the air as a symbol of the completion of an important stage in life and the beginning of a freer adult life.

Graduates received congratulations on the successful completion of their studies at the university from the rector of the SSMU A. Eremin and professors of the university, as well as from the General Director of the group of Russian state universities RACUS A. Nutsalov, “Congratulations to the graduates on this long-awaited day! You did a great job, thanks to your hard work you have achieved outstanding results. Set big goals in life and believe in yourself. We will always stand by you.

Words of congratulations to the graduates were also heard from the Chairman of the Lower Chamber of the State Duma V. Volodin, Head of the Saratov Region R. Busargin, and Minister of Health of the Saratov Region O. Kostina.

The parents of graduates from Uganda and Angola spoke with great gratitude to the RACUS Organization and the University. "Thank you for our children! Thank you for convincing us that we have raised worthy citizens of our countries. Thank you for the excellent education, for your love and attention to our children! Special thanks to the RACUS Organization, which has been carefully accompanying our children for 6 years! Thank you, Russia!" The graduates also said touching farewell words, their eyes full with tears.

NOTE: Today more than 7,000 students study at Saratov State Medical University, 2,000 of them are foreign students from more than 55 countries of Asia, Africa, the Near and Middle East, Latin America and Europe.
