Tunisia chooses Russia: more than 250 applicants attended the " Russian Higher Education Open Days – 2026"

From 13 to 18 July 2026, the office of "RACUS GROUP" in the city of Tunis (Republic of Tunisia) hosted the "Russian Higher Education Open Days – 2026" — a large-scale consultation event for school graduates and their parents.

 

Over the six days, more than 250 prospective students and their family members visited the office. The event coincided with a particularly important period for young people: graduates had received their school certificates and were beginning to choose a country, a university, and their future profession.

 

RACUS GROUP team members in Tunisia held individual consultations, introducing applicants to Russian state universities, educational programmes, admission conditions, tuition and accommodation costs, and the procedures for processing documents, invitations, and student visas. Parents were able to get detailed answers to questions about students'life in Russia, their adaptation, and support throughout the entire period of study. All visitors to the exhibition received promotional and informational brochures about studying in Russia and Russian universities, as well as souvenirs.

 

Traditionally, the greatest interest among Tunisian applicants was in medical and engineering-technical fields, and among universities — Astrakhan State Medical University, Tambov State University, Mari State University, Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy, Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping, and others. Young people are eager to gain in-demand qualifications and see a Russian higher education as a strong foundation for their professional future.

 

Today, more than 500 Tunisian citizens are studying at Russian universities through "RACUS GROUP". Each of these stories represents a significant family decision, a young person's greater ambition, and a path that starts with a first professional consultation.
