Russian airports continue to welcome international students admitted by RACUS GROUP to Russian state universities for the 2026/2027 academic year. From January to October 2026, RACUS GROUP conducted a large-scale international information and admission campaign in 77 countries across Africa, Asia, the Near and Middle East, and Latin America.

Throughout the year, the Organization's staff held education exhibitions, presentations of Russian universities, online and offline consultations, and meetings with school graduates and their parents. Thousands of international applicants received information about fields of study, admission conditions, tuition and accommodation costs, choosing a future profession, and the prospects of obtaining a Russian higher education. Special attention was traditionally given to working with parents. For many families, the decision to send a child to study thousands of kilometers away from home becomes one of the most responsible decisions in life. RACUS GROUP staff explained in detail all the stages of admission, document processing, visa obtaining, arrival in Russia, and further support for students.

Today, the result of this great work can be seen at the airports of Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Young people are arriving from different countries around the world. For them a new stage of mature and independent life in a new country begins. Along with the excitement—joy, smiles, the first photos in Russia, and the feeling that a big goal has finally become reality. Parents who see their children off with hope for their successful professional future are no less happy. All RACUS GROUP staff in 11 cities of Russia meet students at airports and railway stations, help with organizational matters, and coordinate the further route. For arriving groups, transfers to the cities of study are organized in advance. Upon arrival, students are met by staff of the RACUS Group of Russian State Universities International Education Department, who accompany them to the hostels, help them complete the necessary university registration procedures, and adapt to the new environment. Then the most important part begins: studies, getting to know the university, professors and students from different countries around the world, the first classes, and a new independent life in Russia.

The Director General of RACUS GROUP noted:
"Parents don’t need to worry about their children: we will do everything possible to take care of them. We are glad to stay in touch with parents so that their children’s path to adult life is comfortable."

For RACUS GROUP, a student’s admission is not the end of the work, but the beginning of many years of support. The Organization’s representatives remain by the students’ side throughout the entire period of study from the first days in Russia to diploma receipt (up to 7 years).
We are glad to welcome you to Russia, dear students!
