In 2026, Mari State University (MarSU) and RACUS GROUP continue their long-term cooperation aimed at developing international admission and increasing the university’s recognition among international applicants.
The partnership between Mari State University and RACUS GROUP combines MarSU’s academic capabilities with the organization’s 35 years of experience in international education. The joint work is aimed at ensuring that international applicants and their families receive complete and reliable information about the university, admission conditions, educational programs, student life, and the professional prospects of graduates. Special attention is given to developing new programs in English and French in the fields most in demand in the labor markets of African and Asian countries.
Within the framework of the 2026/2027 academic year admission campaign, Mari State University is actively represented on international education platforms. Promotion includes participation in exhibitions, MarSU presentations, meetings with school graduates, consultations for applicants and their parents, seminars, and interaction with foreign education organizations. By October 2026, such events had been held in 77 countries worldwide. In some countries, RACUS GROUP continued its established work to promote MarSU while simultaneously expanding the university’s geographic presence and bringing it to new foreign markets where MarSU’s educational programs were presented for the first time.
Alongside with education exhibitions and school seminars conducted by RACUS GROUP, a certain part of the promotion takes place in the digital environment: social networks, targeted advertising, video materials about the university, student life, and graduates, as well as information materials about admission and MarSU’s educational opportunities.
International candidates show particular interest in the General Medicine, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine programs, as well as engineering fields. For the international audience, the possibility of studying in Russian, English, and French is of great importance. It is precisely thanks to the joint efforts of RACUS GROUP and MarSU that since 2025 the General Medicine and Pharmacy programs have been successfully offered in French, and since 2026 the Veterinary Medicine program is also taught in English.
During 2026, the promotion of Mari State University is being carried out in the countries of Africa, Asia, and the Near and Middle East, including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, South Africa, Nigeria, Rwanda, Eswatini, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Haiti, Botswana, Mauritius, and other countries.
The international activity to promote MarSU in the countries of Africa, Asia, and the Near and Middle East is carried out jointly with RACUS GROUP, which has representative offices in 77 countries worldwide and 11 cities in Russia. The organization has been working in the field of international education since 1991 and for 35 years has been engaged in promoting Russian state universities abroad, attracting foreign citizens for studies at universities, and providing free support to students throughout all their years of study in Russia. According to the ranking of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, RACUS GROUP holds first place among organizations working in the field of international education.
