Yachou Yassine, citizen of the Kingdom of Morocco, is a student of the Astrakhan State Medical University who came for studies through RACUS organization (specialty "General Medicine"). We are proud to announce that Yachou Yassine made an excellent groundbreaking presentation at the 17th World Congress of Neurosurgeons in Bogota, the capital of Colombia. "This is a worldwide recognition of the successful development of neurosurgery in Colombia," said Enrique Osorio Fonseca, president of the Colombian Association of Neurosurgery.
The student's work, for which he was awarded a prestigious grant from the WFNS (World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies), was devoted to electrophysiological evidence of the antiepileptic properties of taurine.
