On May 23, 2025, at the central office of the group of Russian state universities RACUS in St. Petersburg, Russia, a meeting took place between General Director Avbakar Nutsalov and Dr. Clement Andeleki, member of the National Assembly of Zambia, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs and member of the Russia-Zambia Parliamentary Friendship Group.
During the discussions, the parties addressed the matters of the expansion of educational cooperation, prospects for academic exchange, as well as ways to strengthen the presence of the Russian state universities of the RACUS group in Zambia. Special attention was given to the popular academic programs in demand in Zambia’s labor market and to the opportunities for obtaining quality higher education at the RACUS group universities.
The meeting contributed to strengthening bilateral relations in the humanitarian sector and confirmed mutual interest in developing higher education partnerships between Russia and Zambia.
The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
