RACUS organization has allocated scholarships»Bright Futur» to talented students of Russian universities who faced difficult life situation
In September-October 2022, the Group of Russian State Universities RACUS allocated a number of special scholarships "Bright Future" for the 2022/2023 academic year to foreign students who came to study through RACUS. The students reached out to the Organization and asked for help in their difficult life situation. For several years, the Organization has been providing material support for motivated and active foreign students who were admitted to Russian state universities through RACUS.
The "Bright Future" scholarship and charity program created several years ago by RACUS allows talented students who have faced financial difficulties to get an opportunity to pay for their studies in Russia with the funds provided by the Organization.
The Scholarship Committee of RACUS organization received hundreds of applications from the students. One of the winners of the autumn scholarship session of the 2022/2023 academic year, along with dozens of other students, was Saidi Mohammed Reda (Morocco), student of the 5th year of Derzhavin Tambov State University. Reda's mother survived an oncological disease (now she has a disability) and all this time had to pay for her son's education and also cover expensive treatment costs. This student of Tambov State University was selected as a winner due to his high social activity, academic success and diligence. Murugan Thilak Narayanan (India), our 4th-year student of General Medicine program in Tambov State University, also found himself in a difficult life situation. In the Covid-19 pandemic, Thilak lost his father who had paid for his life and education in Russia. Now all the expenses of Thilak's education and staying in Russia are on his mother but her opportunities are running out. Thilak appealed to RACUS organization for financial assistance and support needed for the successful termination of his training at Tambov State University. It is worth mentioning that Thilak has already been trying to provide assistance to the students in Tambov who lost their parents during Covid-19. Thilak continues with his social activities in this direction.RACUS organization has decided to grant a scholarship to Zakir Hussain Sumaiya Farhana (India), a graduate of the Medical Institute of Tambov State University. Zakir Hussain Sumaiya Farhana was selected as a winner for her great academic achievements and active social work. The University's administration also gave her a positive review and good recommendations. The scholarship was allocated for a full period of study in clinical residency program "Obstetrics and Gynecology" at Derzhavin Tambov State University.
