From May 19 to 21, 2025, three cities in Maharashtra state, India—Pune, Solapur, and Sangli —became key points in the ongoing large-scale exhibition tour of the RACUS group of Russian state universities across India. These education events revealed the rich palette of interests of Indian youth.

Pune, renowned intellectual center of India, once again lived up to its title of the Oxford of the East. On May 19, it hosted another exhibition of the tour, where visitors showed particular interest in medical, engineering, and IT programs, fields highly sought after by international corporations and local startups in the region.

The following day, May 20, RACUS representatives moved to Solapur, the region's industrial and textile center. Here, prospective students actively inquired about medical and technical specialties, architecture, and agricultural sciences, reflecting the region's focus on training professionals in these key economic sectors.

On May 21, Sangli, the cultural heart of the region known for its traditions and healthcare initiatives, became the final point of the exhibition tour. Unsurprisingly, General Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Medicine generated the most enthusiasm among future students.

All three exhibitions attracted large crowds, with attendees receiving personalized consultations and colorful promotional materials. These events clearly demonstrated the growing interest among Indian citizens towards Russian higher education and the programs offered by the universities that are members of the RACUS group.
