On March 4, 2025, in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, the Rotary Club conference hall hosted the Education in Russia—2025 specialized education exhibition. The event was organized by the RACUS Group of Russian State Universities.

At the exhibition, colorful advertising booklets, and souvenir products, representing the universities of the RACUS group, were presented to the youth of Zimbabwe. The visitors of the expo enjoyed watching the video presentations of Tambov State University, Mari State University, Astrakhan State Medical University, Saratov State Medical University, and South-Russian State Polytechnic University. The applicants were especially interested in watching the video reviews of Zimbabwean graduates of Russian universities who are successfully working in Zimbabwe and other countries of the world. The visitors of the exhibition received full information about higher education in Russia, popular specialties on the labor market, admission rules, and living conditions. Areas of study relevant to the Zimbabwean economy, such as medicine, engineering, and law, attracted special attention from applicants and their parents.

The agreement on mutual recognition of education documents between Russia and Zimbabwe, signed in November 2022, significantly increased the interest of Zimbabwean youth in studying at Russian universities.

With the country's economic growth and increased demand for qualified personnel, Russian higher education is becoming more and more popular in Zimbabwe.

The day before the exhibition, on March 3, 2025, the Director General of the RACUS organization, A. Nutsalov, held a working meeting with the Counselor of the Russian Federation Embassy in the Republic of Zimbabwe and concurrently in the Republic of Malawi, S. Kuzin. The parties discussed issues of further development of cooperation in the sphere of education and promotion of Russian higher education in Zimbabwe.
