On April 18-19, 2025, the cities of Oujda and Agadir in the Kingdom of Morocco hosted education exhibitions that became a true crossroads of dreams and opportunities. These Moroccan cities, where Eastern charm meets ambitious aspirations for progress, brought together those who seriously contemplate their future: high school students, parents, college graduates—each with their own stories, hopes, and questions. The accents of different regions of the world mingled as the exhibitions attracted not only national universities from Morocco but also foreign institutions from Russia, China, India, Egypt, Canada, Finland, France, the USA, Senegal, and others.

The Study in Russia – 2025 stall, presented by the representatives of RACUSMAROC, immediately became a point of attraction. But it was not just about the bright posters and informational brochures—it was about the atmosphere. Here, they didn’t just talk about medicine, engineering, or IT. The representatives answered the most important questions: “Will I succeed?”, “Will it be worth it?”, “What’s next?”

The neatly arranged booklets on the tables found their owners instantly—everyone was eager to take home a piece of a new future. Souvenirs with the RACUS logo became more than just pleasant gifts; they were mementos of the first step—the step towards the right decision to apply to a Russian university that would change their lives.

Oujda and Agadir stand out as cities unlike any other. These parts of Morocco show high interest in medical, agricultural, and engineering fields: it was not a surprise that they became the most desirable programs at the stall. Future students asked about the duration of studies, affordable tuition fees, and, of course, the possibility of studying in Russian, French, and English.

Visitors of the exhibition were particularly interested in employment after graduation. As emphasized by Avbakar Nutsalov, General Director of RACUS, the world is witnessing a rapid increase in the number of students studying abroad. Today, there are 6.5 million international students, but by 2040, this number will reach 10 million. Although Morocco has a large number of public and private universities, interest in foreign education remains consistently high. “The reason for this is that a diploma from a Russian university significantly boosts graduates’ employability, and the quality standards ensure that Russian higher education remains globally competitive,” he explained.

It is worth mentioning that many exhibition participants shared stories of relatives or friends who had already received their degrees at Russian state universities of the RACUS group. These stories sounded like personal recommendations: warm, confident, and straight to the point.

What is the result? One guest, leaving the exhibition, said, “I came just to look around, but I left with a ticket to a successful future.” It is hard to put it in better words. We are grateful to everyone who shared this day with us, for their trust and thirst for knowledge—it’s meetings like these that mark the beginning of great journeys.
