On July 7, 2025, the long-awaited graduation ceremony of Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin took place in the city of Tambov — one of the most meaningful and emotional days in the life of every graduate. The atmosphere of the event was truly festive and inspiring: joyful faces, shining eyes, and a sense of pride in the journey completed accompanied every participant throughout the evening.
In 2025, 324 new specialists graduated from the University after completing their studies in programs offered by the group of Russian state universities RACUS GROUP. All of them are now ready to contribute to the advancement of medicine, dentistry, engineering, IT, and other in-demand fields.
The graduates were congratulated by the rector of Tambov State University, P. Moiseev, as well as vice-rectors, institute directors, and representatives of the Tambov Region Administration.
A special highlight of the event was the presence of an honored guest — Mr. Sosthene Ndemby, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Gabonese Republic to the Russian Federation, who congratulated the graduates on successfully completing their studies and, together with the rector, presented diplomas to the students from Gabon. The Ambassador emphasized that Tambov State University is the most popular Russian university among Gabonese youth, with the highest number of Gabonese citizens enrolled. He praised the high level of education provided by the Russian state universities of the RACUS group and wished the young professionals a confident start and a brilliant career ahead.
Special words of congratulations were delivered by Mr. A. Nutsalov, General Director of the group of Russian state universities RACUS, who was awarded a gold medal by the university for his many years of effective and fruitful cooperation in the recruitment of international students to Tambov State University and for his contribution to the promotion of Russian higher education abroad. In his address to the graduates, he stated: "More than 3,300 TSU graduates are currently working in over 70 countries of the world. Today, you become full-fledged members of the large international community of students who graduated from the Russian state universities of the RACUS group. During your years of study, you not only acquired knowledge that is recognized worldwide but also developed strength of character, found loyal friends, and gained confidence in your own abilities. May great discoveries, successful projects, and meaningful achievements await you in the future!" The graduation ceremony concluded with a festive concert, the awarding of diplomas, and numerous heartfelt congratulations.
This year, nearly 100 parents of graduates from India, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Ghana, Egypt, and other countries traveled to Tambov to share the joy of this special day with their children. The occasion became a vivid symbol of new horizons and an inspiration for every graduate.
