From June 25 to 27, 2025, the RACUS organization participated in the ICEF Africa 2025 education conference held in Kigali, Rwanda. The event served as a key platform for reinforcing partnerships with African countries and discussing new directions for cooperation in higher education.

The head of RACUS’s Department of Africa delivered a presentation detailing the admission procedures for the 2025–2026 academic year and emphasizing the competitive advantages of Russian higher education, including a wide selection of in-demand programs and affordable tuition fees. During the conference, he held meetings with representatives of academic institutions from more than 10 African countries.

Discussions focused on the strategic promotion of Russian state universities of the RACUS group, the development of joint educational initiatives, and effective mechanisms for advertising and information campaigns. Special attention was given to training highly qualified specialists for African countries and analyzing priority fields aligned with the region’s socio-economic development needs.

The RACUS organization continues to expand its presence on the African continent, a mission it has actively pursued since 1991, reaffirming the importance of sustainable educational dialogue and promoting a positive image of Russian higher education as high-quality and the most accessible for African youth.
