A little earlier, on June 14-19, Russian schoolgirls became the absolute winners of the First World European Olympiad for Girls in Informatics. The Russian team won 4 gold medals at the first European Women's School Olympiad in Informatics, which took place from June 14 to June 19 in Switzerland. 156 schoolgirls from 39 countries took part in the Olympiad.
The Russian team was congratulated by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov: "...
