Russian Higher Education Exhibition Tour in Algeria: Study in Russia 2023
The large-scale exhibition tour "Study in Russia 2023" in Algeria has come to an end. From May 2nd to May 7th, the group of Russian State Universities RACUS presented Russian higher education in Annaba, Skikda, Setif, Jijel, and Bejaia.The exhibitions were visited by Algerian youth at a crossroads who are asking themselves an important question: "Which country and university to choose for getting higher education?". On the education exhibitions, the most popular among the Algerian youth and recognized in Algeria prestigious Russian State Universities that offer Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine programs in French, Russian, and English were presented.The most popular were the following distinguished medical universities of Russia: Saint Petersburg State Chemical Pharmaceutical University, Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin, Saratov State Medical University, Astrakhan State Medical University, Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy, and Saint Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine. The applicants were also interested in more than 1,000 programs in Economics and Engineering provided in English and Russian medium at the following universities: Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University, Yaroslav the Wise Novgorod State University, Nizhny Novgorod State University for Architecture and Civil Engineering, Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping, and Moscow Aviation Institute. All visitors of the exhibitions received colorful, informative brochures and original souvenirs from the RACUS organization.The exhibitions not only opened up the possibility of building an international career to hundreds of Algerian students but also made a great contribution to the development of Russian-Algerian relations in the field of education. High standards of the RACUS organization, professionalism and experience of its staff, relevance and status of the TOP-20 Russian universities with a hundred years of history forming part of RACUS group, and worldwide recognition of the issued diplomas were the key factors why the Study in Russia brand succeeded in Algeria.We thank hospitable Algeria for the warm welcome and amicable atmosphere created during the exhibitions.
