On April 18 and 19, 2025, Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, hosted an international education exhibition organized in the Fondation Mohammed VI de Promotion des Oeuvres Sociales de l'éducation et de Formation conference hall. Russian higher education was presented at the Study in Russia – 2025 stand by the RACUS organization (Saint Petersburg) and managers of its representative office RACUSMAROC (Morocco).
The event brought together thousands of visitors: high school students, school-leavers and university graduates, and their parents, as well as representatives of Moroccan educational institutions and media. The guests of the exhibition learnt about the wide range of study programs offered by the RACUS group universities in Russian, English, and French medium. Future students paid special attention to medical, engineering and IT-specialties – traditional in-demand programs among Moroccan youth. Candidates were actively interested in the admission conditions, duration of studies, cost of tuition and accommodation, as well as job prospects.
The Rabat region is characterized by a high level of urbanization, a well-developed infrastructure, economy, and tourism. These particularities shape candidates’ interest not only in medical and engineering programs, but also in such specialties as Urban Development and Architecture, Hotel Management, Urban Studies and International Relations. With the growing impact of Digital Economy, Cybersecurity, Data Analysis and Digital Project Management attract more and more students.
The general director of the RACUS organization, Avbakar Nutsalov, highly commended the results of the event:
