On May 14, 2025, in Vadodara and May 15 in Surat and Nashik, international education exhibitions were held with the participation of the representatives of the RACUS group of Russian state universities.

These cities showed particularly high interest in the General Medicine (MBBS) program. Vadodara is known for its strong medical colleges and high competition for university seats, Surat is a rapidly growing city with increasing demand for qualified doctors, while Nashik is actively developing medical infrastructure, including private clinics and research centers. This is why future students from these regions consider studying in Russia as a way to obtain quality and affordable higher medical education. There is a known significant shortage of doctors in these cities and the region in general.

The NEET 2025 exam, which is mandatory for admission to medical specialties, took place in May. NEET results are expected in mid-June, and right now future students are choosing their study destination. The visit of RACUS representatives was right on time: it allowed applicants not only to get comprehensive information about admission and studies at Russian medical universities of the RACUS group but also to make an deliberate step towards a future profession that opens the doors to a medical career and high respect in society.

The Higher Medical Education in Russia exhibition tour organized by RACUS in India will continue until May 23, 2025.
