As a result, the University is constantly developing an active dialogue with foreign colleagues, there is an exchange of experience. The latest engineering developments are being studied and joint research projects are being conducted.
Education
The sphere of high technologies and innovative engineering is rapidly developing and requires new approaches and bold, creative scientific thinking that is a common thing among young talented scientists. The University strives to bring together the best and talented scientists, professors, specialists. To еnsure it, the University implements its own personnel program called Scientific and Pedagogical Youth. The university trains for itself high-class professors by creating Targeted PhD programs and Doctoral studies. Thanks to this program, the University academic staff got 59 talented professors, and the University will continue to enroll young scientists with PhD and doctoral dissertations.
International cooperation

TRAINING AND PRACTICE
Education and practice
Moscow Aviation Institute combines at the highest level its fundamental academic training and the development of innovative applied areas in engineering. Lectures are accompanied by multimedia and high-tech teaching methods.
A distinctive way of training students is to assign them from the 3rd year to specialized aviation enterprises where being guided by highly qualified industry specialists they carry out specialized course and diploma projects, pass all kinds of practice, take part in work in project groups, and organizations pay for their work and appoint additional scholarships.
This helps students to see their prospects at enterprises, and employers thus may find capable future specialists.
The University has 30 departments of leading aerospace enterprises, which also emphasizes the actual unity of theory and practice.
moscow-aviation-institute-laboratory.jpg
A unique laboratory base was created at Moscow Aviation University: full-scale models of equipment, including aircraft, helicopters, missiles, weapons systems, robotics, avionics and radar, aerodynamic pipes, aircraft simulators, industrial computing tomograph, experimental vacuum stand, equipment complex for the study of micro- and nanoparticles, as well as specialized software and much more.
The University has extensive networks with industry. It is one of the most popular universities in Russia in training for the leading companies in the industry, such as the State corporation "Roscosmos", "Rosatom", "Rostec", etc.
The high quality of education is confirmed by the fact that over 80% of its graduates work as leading specialists in well-known Russian and foreign aerospace enterprises.
Additional educational opportunities
The university attaches great importance to the academic mobility of students, teachers and administrative staff within the Bologna process. Students have an opportunity to go on short-term training to various universities in Europe and America.
The University's Scientific and Technical Library provides students with a huge selection of educational, methodological, scientific and fiction literature, as well as publications in scientific journals. The library has a unique collection of literature with more than 2.8 million copies of books. There is an electronic full-text library with 3,500 digitized edition and electronic access to leading foreign and Russian scientific publications and portals.
At the University there are two corporate newspapers - "Propeller" (published since 1931) and "Ot vinta" (student newspaper published since 1997). Newspapers reflect the history and current state of aviation, they tell about heroes and famous scientists. Students can try themselves in the role of a journalist or photojournalist, which will further expand their professional and cultural horizons.
